In May of 2021 ECOnnect Energy conducted an offshore marine LNG delivery with the IQuay jettyless transfer system together with Spanish utility company Naturgy Energy Group, and Finnish energy major Gasum. In addition to the LNG import from Gasum-chartered LNG carrier to an Air Liquide LNG terminal in Herøya, the operation also measured the flow rate, friction and pressure of LNG in the floating flexible hoses.
